How to choose a cycling pannier

Panniers are bags specifically designed for carrying luggage during bicycle travels and are mounted on racks. They can be divided into front panniers and rear panniers based on their placement positions. Front panniers usually have a smaller capacity, around 20-30 liters, and are mounted on the front fork racks, while rear panniers generally have a capacity of 40-50 liters. It is noteworthy that panniers are mostly sold in pairs, and the stated capacity refers to the total capacity of a pair to balance the weight distribution on both sides.

The characteristics of panniers can be analyzed from the following two aspects:
Materials:
    1. Fully Waterproof Material: Polyester fabric which has a smooth surface, is easy to manage, thick, stiff, fully waterproof, and non-breathable.
    2. Abrasion-Resistant Material: Nylon fabric which is stiff, thick, super abrasion-resistant, tear-resistant, and waterproof.
    3. Breathable Material: Waterproof thick canvas which is thick, abrasion-resistant, moisture-permeable, waterproof, and easy to repair.
Usage Tips:
    1. Adjust the position of the panniers properly to avoid toe strikes on the front panniers during turns and heel touches on the rear panniers during cycling.
    2. Ensure the hooks are fully engaged onto the racks before starting your ride.
    3. Do not exceed the load limits (overweight, overfilled), as it can affect riding safety and waterproof efficacy.
