Macvol at Eurobike 2024
On the first day of Eurobike, core members of Macvol, including Marco Mao, Olga Guo, Harry Hu, and Mingpi Gao, were present at the MOTINOVA booth, a supplier of electric motors owned by Midea Group.
The MOTINOVA booth attracted numerous enthusiastic visitors and industry professionals. Attendees had the chance to explore MOTINOVA's extensive range of mid-mounted and hub motors and experience firsthand the innovative technology and superior performance. This interactive experience offered valuable insights into the advanced engineering and seamless integration of MOTINOVA products across various e-bike models.
Macvol eBike's Peak20 and Easy20 models feature MOTINOVA's MIGIC T1 and C1 mid-drive motor series, respectively. The MIGIC T1 mid-drive motor is powerful, delivering torque between 85 NM and 115 NM, with the Peak20 specifically utilizing the T1 motor rated at 90 NM. This motor provides sensitive feedback, instantly responding to the rider's intentions. The T1 motor also incorporates lightweight magnesium alloy casting technology, meeting the rigorous demands of mountain cross-country biking with its exceptional vibration absorption, strength, rigidity, heat dissipation, and corrosion resistance. The MIGIC C1 mid-motor delivers 75 NM of torque in a lightweight package of less than 3 kg. It offers a compact and aesthetically pleasing design, ensuring a smooth and lightweight riding experience.
The MIGIC series motors use a flat wire process, borrowed from automobile motors, to enhance energy efficiency and ensure longer endurance. Additionally, the overrunning clutch bi-directional disengagement design maintains a natural pedaling feel, even in the event of a power failure.
In the future, Macvol plans to continue and expand its collaboration with MOTINOVA to bring more e-mobility solutions to the European market, enhancing mobility products for their customers.
